Randy Sackefio Arhin is a Senior Partner at Verum Legal with a professional background spanning
corporate finance administration, public sector financial governance, and legal practice. His
experience combines structured financial oversight with commercial legal advisory, positioning him
at the intersection of finance, regulation, and corporate accountability.
Randy’s practice focuses on commercial transactions, financial governance matters, and
institutional compliance. His work reflects a disciplined and analytical approach shaped by years of
financial scrutiny and regulatory oversight within public administration. He brings particular insight
to matters involving statutory funds, financial approvals, expenditure controls, and structured
decision-making processes.
Prior to full-time legal practice, Randy served as an Account Officer at the Ministry of Finance from
2013 to 2020. In that capacity, he dealt with allocations from the Ministry of Finance, donor funds
and the Common Fund. He was responsible for vetting, scrutinising and approving expenditure
levels across various units of the Assembly, advising on the disbursement and utilisation of
Internally Generated Funds (IGF) and statutory allocations, and overseeing scrutiny relating to the
MP Common Fund and the Ghana School Feeding Programme account. His role required financial
diligence, regulatory awareness, and adherence to public accountability standards.
Earlier in his career, Randy held roles in marketing and public relations, information analysis, and
financial administration across Ghana, France and the United Kingdom. These positions involved
market analysis, stakeholder engagement, financial record management and operational reporting,
contributing to his broad commercial perspective.
