Philip Kwasi Appiah is a Senior Partner at Verum Legal with over two decades of experience spanning law, construction, real estate development, and engineering project management. He brings a rare combination of legal expertise and deep industry knowledge, enabling him to advise clients with precision, commercial awareness, and strategic insight. Philip’s practice focuses on real estate, construction law, infrastructure projects, commercial transactions, and regulatory advisory. His background as Managing Director of a construction company provides him with first-hand operational and financial experience, allowing him to deliver practical, solution-oriented advice grounded in real-world business dynamics. He regularly advises developers, contractors, investors and corporate clients on project structuring, contract negotiation, risk allocation, procurement frameworks, compliance strategy, and stakeholder engagement. His approach is commercially pragmatic, focused on safeguarding client interests while facilitating sustainable project execution. Before joining Verum Law group, Philip served as a Managing Director and previously General Manager of K-Appiah Construction Limited, where he oversaw corporate governance, financial management, contract administration, procurement systems, and high-level stakeholder negotiations. His leadership experience strengthens his ability to guide clients through complex transactions and disputes with strategic clarity. Philip is called to the Ghana Bar and is a member of the Ghana Bar Association.
